Alrosa suspends production at low-profit fields

Alrosa temporarily suspends production at low-profitable deposits. Mining will be suspended at the Verkhne-Munskoe deposit from June 15, and at the alluvial deposits of Khara-Mas and Ochuos in the Anabar River valley from April 1. Their combined production in the 2025 production plan was less than 1 million carats of diamonds or 3% of total production. The suspension of mining will reduce direct costs by ₽9 billion a year.
