RusHydro completed the modernization of hydro unit No. 16 at Volzhskaya HPP, which is the largest HPP in Europe. To date, all 22 hydro turbines and 20 generators at Volzhskaya HPP have been upgraded. New hydro units are more efficient, which has already increased the plant's capacity from 2,541 MW to 2,734 MW.
