Yandex Travel acquires online hotel booking service for business

Yandex Travel service has agreed to purchase the Akadem Online business related to online hotel reservations for business trips. Company is developing a digital booking platform of the same name, which is used by agencies, tour operators and companies when organizing business trips in Russia and abroad. Deal will allow Yandex Travel to launch a new business tourism business, expand its audience and strengthen its market position.
