Yandex has developed a prototype of a mobile picker robot

IT company Yandex has developed a prototype of Russia's first mobile picking robot with computer vision. By the end of 2026, the company will conduct pilot projects in the warehouses of Russian retailers and, based on their results, plans to start mass production in 2027. Company expects that their solution will be 5-8 times more profitable than their foreign counterparts.
