Alrosa invests ₽20 billion in Udachnaya tube

Alrosa will extend the life of the Udachnaya kimberlite pipe in Yakutia at least until 2055. To do this, the company is investing ₽20 billion in a project to develop the deep horizons of the field. It is planned to open deposits to a depth of 1.13 km. Work will be carried out in parallel with the deepening of mining operations until 2040. The annual production volume will amount to 4.1 million tons of ore, with a profit of about ₽6 billion.
