The FESCO transport group has assumed management of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Commercial Sea Port and Kamchatka Shipping Company (KASCO), transferred to state ownership in June, according to the corporate register. FESCO now manages 38 Kamchatka-based assets of Rosimushchestvo. The port handles about 1 million tons of cargo annually, while KASCO operates eight vessels with yearly revenue of RUB 5–7 billion. FESCO, under Rosatom’s management, continues to expand its port and logistics operations in the Russian Far East.
