VTB's Supervisory Board has called an extraordinary meeting of shareholders on the issue of reorganizing the bank in the form of joining Postbank on February 19, 2026. VTB bought out the Russian Post's stake in Postbank and consolidated 100% of the credit institution's shares at the end of 2024. The process of migration of the Postbank network and customer base to a single technology platform is currently underway, the final stage of which should be the bank's legal incorporation into VTB in May 2026.
