Mechel shareholders have the right to demand the purchase of their shares

Mechel's shareholders prematurely terminated the powers of all members of the Board of Directors and granted consent to a major transaction, the price of which is more than 50% of the book value of assets, consisting of several interrelated transactions. Company decided not to disclose information about the terms of the deal. Shareholders who voted against or did not attend the meeting may submit their shares for repurchase at ₽82.03 per ordinary share and ₽79.25 per preferred share.
