Mechel plans to increase coal production in 2026

Mechel's coal production by the end of 2025 is expected to reach 7.3-7.6 million tons. In 2026, the company plans to increase production to 11-12 million tons of coal. In addition, the holding intends to completely replace the purchased raw materials with its own Korshunovsky GOK concentrate and move from a survival strategy to a phase of maximum rapid growth.
