Joint venture of Rostelecom and the National Media Group, the Wink online cinema, has acquired the Smotreshka online cinema. Parties did not disclose the amount of the transaction. According to Denis Kuskov, head of TelecomDaily, it may be in the range of 3.5-4 billion rubles. Online cinema Smotreshka does not work directly with customers, but through intermediaries, which are mainly regional Internet service providers. Among the services operating under this model, Smotreshka accounts for 60% of the market.
