Roskomnadzor has started slowing down Telegram

Authorities have decided to start work on slowing down the Telegram messenger in Russia, sources in the information technology industry and two sources in relevant departments told RBC. According to the interlocutors of the publication, Roskomnadzor could have already begun to take measures to partially limit the operation of the service. Beginning of the slowdown is also confirmed by the increase in the number of complaints about Telegram failures in Russia that began yesterday.
