VTB will release ₽50 of its capital

VTB will sell a portfolio of loans to individuals worth ₽300 billion in March, said Dmitry Pyanov, First Deputy President and Chairman of the VTB Management Board. Deal will allow the bank to free up 50 billion rubles of capital. From the point of view of capital adequacy, it is more profitable to repay loans to individuals and direct funds to lending to legal entities, the top manager noted.
