Polar Lithium launches pilot production

Joint venture between Rosatom and Norilsk Nickel, Polar Lithium, has begun pilot production of lithium at the Kolmozersky deposit in the Murmansk Region. The project involves the production of lithium carbonate and hydroxide in the amount of 45 thousand tons per year. It is planned to reach this volume in four years, and the first products will be produced by 2028.
