Rosneft has bought a major PVC manufacturer

Rosneft has become the sole bidder for the purchase of Sayanskkhimplast and its related assets for ₽30.3 billion. Company is located in the Irkutsk region and produces polyvinyl chloride and caustic soda. For Rosneft, this asset is of strategic importance, as it has long been associated with the Angarsk Polymer Plant, which is part of the company's group. Additionally, the acquisition will allow the company to enter a new segment of polymers and expand its presence in the PVC market.
