Kamaz will produce an experimental batch of armored personnel carriers

Production of military vehicles at the Kamaz plant in Naberezhnye Chelny has increased to 3,800 units per year. Previously, the plant produced 70 such vehicles, according to Sergey Kogogin, the company's general director, during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In addition, Kamaz is developing an armored personnel carrier, as the existing armored personnel carrier is outdated. In 2026, the vehicle will be "lifted" and tested, and in 2027, a pilot production batch is planned.
