Tatneft has withdrawn from the Gebkim SEZ project

Tatneft has withdrawn from the project to produce maleic anhydride at the Gebkim Special Economic Zone in Turkey. Construction of the plant began in 2022. It was planned to be completed in 2024. The investment was estimated at $300 million. Launch of the plant has not been announced. Company has not disclosed the current status of the project, the reasons for its withdrawal, or the terms of the withdrawal.
