Tatneft holds most of the exploration and production licenses and produces substantially all its crude oil in Tatarstan.

Tatneft's oil production in 2024 amounted to 27.28 million tons, down 4.1% year-on-year. Gas production decreased by 5.4% to 871 million cubic meters. At the same time, the output of oil products increased by 1.2% to 17.1 million tons, while gas products decreased by 12.9% to 955,000 tons. Oil refining decreased by 0.3% to 341 thousand barrels per day.
