UAC has started testing the fifth-generation two-seat Su-57

First test flight of the prototype of the fifth-generation two-seat fighter jet Su-57 took place, according to First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. In addition to its unique combat characteristics, the aircraft will also have the functionality of a combat training aircraft and the capabilities of a combat control aircraft. New aircraft has been designated as the Su-57D. It was piloted by Hero of Russia test pilot Sergey Bogdan. Flight proceeded smoothly.
