Moscow Exchange summed up the results of trading in May

Total trading volume on the Moscow Exchange markets in April 2026 amounted to ₽161.5 trillion, an increase of 40% compared to ₽115.1 trillion a year earlier. Trading volume for stocks, depositary receipts, and shares decreased by 21% to ₽19 trillion. In the bond market, the trading volume decreased by 10.5% to ₽1.7 trillion. In the derivatives market, the trading volume increased by 50% to ₽13.1 trillion. Trading volume on the money market increased by 43%, to ₽132.1 trillion.
