LUKOIL may acquire the Top Lubricants lubricant production plant in Russia’s Kaluga region, previously owned by TotalEnergies. According to Kommersant sources, employees have already been informed about the potential transaction. The facility, built in 2018 with TotalEnergies investments of $55 million, currently has production capacity of up to 75,000 tonnes per year. Analysts estimate the asset’s value at RUB 1.5–2 billion and describe it as one of the most modern lubricant plants in Russia.
