Rosneft Targets September Launch for Sever Bay Port Phase One
Rosneft plans to commission the first phase of the Sever Bay port, part of the Vostok Oil project, in September 2026. The announcement was made by Rosneft Chief Executive Officer Igor Sechin at the company’s annual shareholders meeting. According to Sechin, the company has completed construction of a 790-kilometer oil pipeline, including a twin-line underwater crossing of the Yenisei River measuring 5.7 kilometers per line. The Vostok Oil project encompasses 52 licensed blocks located in the Taymyr region and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
