Norilsk Nickel has started actively expanding the Severny mine

MMC Norilsk Nickel has entered the active phase of the project to expand the Severny mine in Zapolyarny. It involves working out reserves up to a new horizon of -730 m, which will allow reaching a production level of 7 million tons of ore by 2030. Investments at this stage will amount to ₽13.5 billion.
