China's largest state-owned airlines will buy nearly 300 planes from Airbus. Air China and China Southern Airlines will each buy 96 A320neo series aircraft for $12.2 billion. China Eastern Airlines will buy 100 aircraft of the same type for $12.8 billion. Deliveries will take place from 2023 to 2027.

Airbus will deliver 56 A320neo aircraft to the British airline easyJet from 2026 to 2029. In addition, easyJet will change its previous order from 18 A320neo aircraft to the same number of A321neo. The total cost of all aircraft will be $6.5 billion.

Airbus has opened a Zero Emission center specializing in the development of cryogenic fuel systems for hydrogen-powered aircraft in Filton. One of the center's main tasks is to develop a cost-optimal fuel system for the company's new ZEROe series aircraft. The company plans to introduce a zero-emission aircraft from that series by 2035.

Qatar Airways has cancelled another contract for the purchase of A350 aircraft from Airbus. The airline refused to buy 23 of these planes because of damage to the lightning protection on their hulls. The amount of compensation demanded by Qatar Airways for all contracts is more than $1 billion.
