AMC Entertainment Holdings reported a GAAP loss of $337.4 million for the 3 months of 2022, down 40.5% from $567.2 million in the previous year. Revenue increased 5.3 times to $785.7 million from $148.3 million a year earlier.

AMC Entertainment Holdings' GAAP loss for 2021 was $1.27 billion, down 3.6 times from $4.589 billion the previous year. Revenue doubled to $2.528 billion from $1.242 billion a year earlier.

AMC Entertainment Holdings' GAAP loss for 9M 2021 was $1.135 billion, down 3.2 times from $3.643 billion in the previous year. Revenues increased 25.6% to $1.356 billion from $1.08 billion a year earlier.

AMC Entertainment will start selling popcorn under its own brand. The company will open five AMC Theatres Perfectly Popcorn stores in malls in the first half of 2022, and plans to open 15 outlets by 2023. They will sell traditional and gourmet popcorn, candy and other movie theater treats, bottled water, and Coca-Cola Freestyle vending machines.
