Saudi Aramco plans to take TotalEnergies' place in Arctic LNG-2, sources told Upstream. Saudi Aramco negotiated with Novatek at the stage of forming the pool of investors for the project in 2019, but the parties could not reach an agreement. At that time, the Saudi company wanted 20-30% of the project. TotalEnergies owns 10% of Arctic LNG-2.
