Atlantic Power's GAAP net income for three months of 2021 was $1.6 million, down many times from $23.7 million the year before. Revenue was down 1.1% to $72 million from $72.8 million a year earlier.

Atlantic Power's GAAP net income for 2020 was $73.5 million, compared to a loss of $43.8 million the previous year. Revenues fell 3.4% to $272 million from $281.6 million a year earlier.

Atlantic Power's board of directors has approved the sale of the company to investment firm I Squared Capital for $961 million, including convertible debt. Atlantic Power common stockholders will receive $3.03 per share. The parties expect to close the transaction in Q2 2021.

Net profit of Atlantic Power Corp. under GAAP for 9 months of 2020 was $37.5 million, up 91.3% year-on-year from $19.6 million. Revenue was down 7% to $200.3 million, against $215.4 million a year earlier.
