BASF will spin off its mobile emissions catalysts and related precious metals services division. The new company will be called BASF Automotive Catalysts and Recycling. The facility will include about 20 manufacturing sites and more than 4,000 employees. The spin-off process will begin in January 2022 and will take up to 18 months.
