The loss of Booking Holdings under GAAP for the 3 months of 2022 was $700 million, an increase of 12.7 times compared to $55 million in the previous year. Revenue increased 2.4 times to $2.695 billion from $1.141 billion a year earlier.

Net income of Booking Holdings under GAAP for 2021 was $1.165 billion, up 19.7 times from $0.059 billion in the previous year. Revenue rose 61.2% to $10.958 billion from $6.796 billion a year earlier.

Booking Holdings has completed its acquisition of B2B hotel room distributor Getaroom from Court Square Capital Partners. Getaroom will become part of the Priceline Booking Holdings brand to form a new business unit of the Priceline Partner Network strategic partnership. The deal is valued at $1.2 billion.

Booking is buying airline booking service Etraveli Group for €1.63 billion. The closing of the deal is subject to certain closing conditions, including regulatory approval.
