Churchill Downs' GAAP net income for 2021 was $249.1 million, compared to a loss of $82.1 million the previous year. Revenue increased 51.5% to $1.597 billion from $1.054 billion a year earlier.

Churchill Downs acquires Peninsula Pacific Entertainment for $2.485 billion. The company owns casinos in Virginia, New York and Sioux City. The deal is scheduled to close by the end of 2022.

Churchill Downs reported a GAAP net profit of $205.8 million for 9M 2021, compared to a loss of $99.2 million in the previous year. Revenues increased 58.8% to $1.232 billion from $0.776 billion a year earlier.
