It owns five refineries in the USA and three abroad (Thailand, South Africa, Canada), as well as non-operating stakes in five foreign refineries (in South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Pakistan and New Zealand).

Chevron is preparing to take operational control of its joint ventures in Venezuela in order to increase oil supplies from the country after the ban on imports of Russian oil, sources told Reuters. However, this will only be possible if the U.S. eases sanctions on the Venezuelan country.
