GameStop has launched a beta version of a non-custodial NFT marketplace based on the Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain. On the marketplace you can buy or sell various in-game items, such as avatar clothing and weapons.

GameStop will conduct a 1-to-4 stock split. On July 21, 2022, the company's shareholders will receive 3 additional shares for each of their securities. Trading of GameStop stock, adjusted for the split, will begin on July 22, 2022.

GameStop's GAAP loss for 3 months of 2022 was $157.9 million, up 2.4 times from $66.8 million in the previous year. Revenue rose 7.9% to $1.378 billion from $1.277 billion a year earlier.

GameStop launched a wallet for Ethereum cryptocurrency in the form of a browser extension that will allow users to store and transfer cryptocurrencies and NFT. The wallet will allow transactions on GameStop's NFT exchange, which is expected to launch in Q2 of this fiscal year.
