Rolls-Royce expects British regulator approval for a small modular nuclear reactor by mid-2024. Each reactor unit will have a capacity of 470 MW and cost £1.8 billion. They are expected to help reduce dependence on fossil fuels and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
