Synopsys has completed its $330 million acquisition of WhiteHat Security, which provides a SaaS service for DAST testing of application security.

Synopsys' GAAP net income for 6 months of fiscal 2022 was $607.233 million, up 70.2% from $356.83 million in the prior year. Revenue increased 27.8% to $2.55 billion from $1.995 billion a year earlier.

Synopsys acquires WhiteHat Security for $330 million, providing a SaaS service for DAST application security testing. The deal is scheduled to close in Q3 2022.

Synopsys and Juniper Networks have established a joint venture, Silicon Photonics. The company will provide the semiconductor industry with an open silicon photonics platform that will include integrated lasers, optical amplifiers, and a full suite of photonic components to form a complete solution with PDK.
