Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing's IFRS net profit for Q3 FY2023 was NT$211 billion, down 24.9% from NT$280.87 billion in the previous year. Revenue fell 10.8% to NT$546.73 billion from NT$613.14 billion a year earlier.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing's IFRS net profit for 6 months of 2023 amounted NT$388.67 billion, down 11.7% from NT$440.05 billion in the previous year. Revenue fell 3.4% to NT$0.99 trillion from NT$1.025 trillion a year earlier.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing's IFRS net income for 3 months of 2023 was NT$206.99 billion, up 2.1% from NT$202.73 billion in the previous year. Revenue rose 3.6% to NT$508.63 billion from NT$491.08 billion a year earlier.

TSMC plans to build another semiconductor plant next to the Arizona plant that was built in 2020, sources told the Wall Street Journal. New enterprise will produce 3-nanometer chips. Volume of investment will be approximately the same as in the previous plant - $12 billion.
