The court in the German city of Mannheim granted one of Nokia's claims against Daimler for patent infringement. The court's decision prohibits the car manufacturer from using technology that allows the car or other devices to communicate effectively with LTE networks without Nokia's permission. Nokia hopes that Daimler will now enter into a license agreement with Daimler to use its technology. Nokia already has agreements with Audi, Bentley, BMW, Mini, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen.
