The Pentagon has re-examined Microsoft and Amazon's $10 billion JEDI contract for 10 years and has re-elected Microsoft. The agency chose Microsoft as a supplier under this contract back in October 2019. However, another applicant - Amazon, appealed to the Federal Court of Claims, indicating that the proposal is not the most profitable Microsoft, and the choice was made under pressure from U.S. President - Donald Trump. Later, the court suspended the contract and gave the Pentagon the opportunity to reconsider the Microsoft and Amazon proposals.
