Acron has applied for a $1.5 billion project to build a new complex, the largest ammonia and urea plant in Europe with a capacity of over 1 million tonnes. The application for the NWPC was also submitted for the construction of the second stage of the Oleniy Ruchey phosphate plant and the Talitsky potash plant at the Talitsky area in Perm Krai at a cost of $1.5 billion. Without the NWPC, a 3.5-fold increase in MET from 2021 will make the projects unprofitable.
