Evraz started mining titanium-magnetite ores at its new Sobstvenno-Kachkanarskoye deposit. It is planned to mine about 200 thousand tons of ore here by the end of the year. Implementation of the first stage of the project, according to the plan, will require ₽6.4 billion. It is expected that by 2024 the production will reach 13 million tons of ore per year.
