T-Mobile entered into a five-year, multibillion-dollar cooperation agreement with Ericsson and Nokia to expand its 5G network in the United States. T-Mobile's 5G network coverage area covers 280 million people across about 1.6 million square miles - 2.5 times that of AT&T, and nearly four times that of Verizon. Its Ultra Capacity 5G connection provides average data speeds of 300 Mbps, with peaks of about 1 Gbps, and covers more than 106 million people, 50 times more than Verizon.
