Linde and South Korea's Hyosung will build a liquid hydrogen plant and infrastructure for its transportation, including a refueling network in South Korea. The plant has a capacity of more than 30 tons of hydrogen per day, which will allow fueling more than 100,000 cars, reducing CO2 emissions by 130,000 tons per year. The site will use Linde's patented hydrogen liquefaction technology, which is currently used to produce about half of the world's liquid hydrogen. Phase 1 of the project is expected to be completed in 2023.
