Brands acquired Israel-based Tictuk Technologies, a developer of a platform for selling products through various social networks and chat rooms, including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, SMS, QR codes and e-mail. Yum! Brands already successfully uses the Tictuk platform in 900 KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants in 35 countries outside the U.S. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
