Maersk has launched a new intermodal freight route from Asia to Southern Europe through Russia - AE77. The company sent its first container train from the Vostochny terminal to the Novorossiysk terminal. From there the cargo will be shipped by sea to its destinations, Ukraine and Turkey. The shipments on this route will be performed weekly, with a travel time of 25 to 30 days.
