RusHydro Group may receive financing from the National Welfare Fund for the construction of three power plants in the Far East, Kommersant sources told Kommersant. The projects will cost ₽226 billion and will have a total capacity of over 1 GW. The government may finance 25% of the total cost at 4% to 5% per annum. Such a scheme would reduce the additional burden on consumers due to the projects from ₽43 billion to ₽39 billion per year.
