Sempra Energy announced the expiration of its merger offer with IEnova. IEnova shareholders received 0.0323 shares of Sempra stock for each of their securities. As part of the transaction, Sempra issued 12,306,777 new shares in exchange for 381,015,194 IEnova shares out of 433,242,720 eligible shares in the offer. Sempra Energy thus became the owner of 96.4% of IEnova.
