Samsung Electronics began mass production of the Samsung ISOCELL JN1 - the first 50-megapixel image sensor with a single pixel size of only 0.64 microns. The pixel size will make it possible both to reduce the camera's protrusion and to abandon it altogether. The sensor can record video 4K resolution at 60 fps, and Full HD at 240 fps.
