Lordstown Motors said it lacked the funds to launch full production of the Endurance pickup. At the same time, in its financial statements, the company expressed doubts about its ability to continue operations for the next 12 months. Lordstown Motors is working to raise more capital, including through the state's ATVM program. But even if it fails to secure funding, the company is not canceling plans to begin production in late September 2021. However, it will produce about 50 percent of its previously planned 2,200 vehicles this year.
