Trading volume on Moscow Exchange exceeded ₽1 quadrillion by the end of 2021

Total trading volume on Moscow Exchange markets for 2021 was ₽1.01 quadrillion, up 6.6% from ₽0.947 quadrillion a year earlier. Trading volume in the stock market was ₽30 trillion, up 20.5%. In the futures market, the trading volume rose 21.7% to ₽158 trillion. The trading volume in the foreign exchange market fell 2.8% to ₽319.8 trillion. The money market trading volume was ₽474 trillion, up 11.1% from ₽426.8 trillion a year earlier. Precious metal trading volume quadrupled to ₽209.2 billion.
