Glencore and Britishvolt to create a joint venture for battery recycling

Glencore and lithium-ion battery manufacturer Britishvolt will build a battery recycling plant in Great Britain. The plant will recycle 10,000 tons of lithium-ion batteries per year. The facility's long-term goal is to switch to renewable energy sources in the manufacturing process. The facility is expected to be operational by mid-2023.
