Phillips 66 is converting its San Francisco refinery into a renewable fuel production facility. The plan is to build pretreatment units and repurpose existing hydrocracking units. The facility will produce more than 50,000 barrels of green fuel per day. Investments in the project will amount to $850 million. Commercial operation is planned to start in Q1 2024.
