JetBlue Airways has increased its offer to buy Spirit Airlines from $3.6 billion to $3.7 billion, or from $31.5 to $33.5 per share. Spirit's board of directors will review the new offer and respond in due course. Spirit Airlines previously entered into a merger agreement with Frontier that offered Spirit shareholders 1.9126 shares of Frontier stock and $2.13 for each of their shares.
